Introduction
Nai Subah Institute of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences, Varanasi, in collaboration with the We Avec U Organization, Noida, is delighted to announce a CRE training & workshop on “Bridging the Gap: Interventions for Students with Learning Disabilities”, scheduled from The workshop is a 3-day (18 hours) training program with 18 CRE credit points.
Workshop Key Areas:
The focus of this training workshop is to provide the participants with the accurate information and adequate skills to be of assistance to students with learning disabilities. Participants will be trained in the following key domains to ensure a holistic approach:
- A range of learning disabilities and their underlying neuropsychological mechanisms
- Methods for assessment and identification
- Intervention approaches for disabilities in reading, writing, and mathematics
- Utilization of assistive technology and adaptations within the classroom
- Support for social-emotional and behavioral needs, along with family engagement
- Development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
